Home

I spent yesterday, Father's Day, with my love and with my daddy.

After our family dinner, Brian, Ami and I went to visit Maw for a little while and then we went exploring, taking pictures in Oglethorpe, our home town. I really like how this picture turned out.  I'm sitting in front of a very old building, they're all very old, that has been so many things in the past hundred years.  I think it's an antique furniture store now.  It's had a thousand coats of paint and holds a million secrets.  It's the very definition of small town and I loved it.  So I'm sitting there on a bench looking off down Sumter Street in little bitty Oglethorpe, Georgia, thinking how lucky I am to have grown up there.  I may not live there anymore but my heart sure does.

  1. I seriously LOVE how your blog looks!!! Even with the big, typed font title over to the left. It looks so clean and fresh and streamlined. You should definitely keep this one! And I love that picture I took of you. It IS home!
