Calendula Dreams

My calendula seeds came this weekend.
I am so excited to get them started!
I have dreams of a yard like this.  :)

If all goes well through the summer, there will be some yummy homemade salves and scrubs for Christmas gifts!  Fingers crossed!

  1. You go girl! You been wanting to try these for awhile. Good Luck!

  2. Calendula, like basil, becomes more prolific the more you pick it. Start picking the blooms as soon as they open, pull the petals off, and put them in some almond oil over a double boiler. Let the oil get warm, but not too hot. You can chill the oil and do it over and over until you get the concentration you want. I'm totally doing more calendula again this year.

    1. Ooooo, thanks!! I'll probably have questions when the time comes. :)
