My calendula seeds came this weekend.

ReplyDeleteCalendula, like basil, becomes more prolific the more you pick it. Start picking the blooms as soon as they open, pull the petals off, and put them in some almond oil over a double boiler. Let the oil get warm, but not too hot. You can chill the oil and do it over and over until you get the concentration you want. I'm totally doing more calendula again this year.
